I grew up in Chennai, India (a big urban metropolis in South India, also Google's CEO is from my city) and moved to Britain in 2009 for higher education..

Becoming a quant (banking for STEM) seemed perfect as it meant you could do a whole load of math, stats, programming and others types of number crunching. I did this for 4 years!

I didn't have a Ph.D so I decided to go back to school one fine day. I applied to Cambridge in the summer of 2015 and there has been no looking back since...
